Walkabout for Biosafety Excellence

Introduction

In the spring of 2001, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Richard Powell initiated a program to acknowledge excellence in research through successful integration of the principles and practices of biosafety management. The success of research depends on intelligent identification, evaluation, and control of risk. The following exemplifies how this is being accomplished at The University of Arizona.
